Running your own Casino
That it may seem like everyone is trying to get in on the act. However, if you have the funds and knowledge, it is possible to make a decent profit from running your own online casino.
1. Create the software & web site, recruit a customer service team, arrange your own payment solutions and acquire a gaming license. This is an option for the very large business or incredibly rich entrepreneur, as you could be looking at paying out well over a million dollars before you begin to see any return. A gaming license is not easily come about, as government approval is generally required. The main advantage to doing it this way is that you have a full rein over what goes on, and you should not need significant extra capital in future. 2. Pay to become a Licensee of casino software. Companies such as Starnet are involved with this option. They provide the software (usually generic) and tailor it to your casino branding. This costs less than option one, but can still be up to $500K. They provide the customer service and your casino comes under their gaming license. There are significant differences here in terms of finance too. Usually, the licensee must pay a percentage of the monthly net revenue to the software provider in return for the provision of customer services, license and payment solutions. This can be anything from 15-40% of the profits. 3. Become an affiliate or sub-licensee of an
existing casino. This is the cheapest option and can sometimes even be totally free to set up. Obviously, the company running the casino will take the lion's share of the revenue, but you could still make between 10-50%, depending on the revenue you generate and how much the casino is prepared to pay. The main problem with this option is that the casino will be difficult to brand to your own specs and may not look as professional as option 1 & 2. This is more for your "hobbyist" and people interested in making a little extra money. We have many examples of companies who provide all three options, and can assist you if you are interested in getting an online casino set up.
